Reminder that Thanksgiving overshadows our November meeting this month. Woodland Museum has an archaeology event on Dec. 6, Lectures and Pizza(See flyer or below). Creation Club has our Thanksgiving/Christmas Party on Dec. 11.

When: Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
Where: Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Fellowship Hall

The church is located just west of Hillsdale Blvd. and Madison Ave. (on the south side of Madison Ave.).

It is also west of the interchange of Madison Avenue & I-80. It is across the street from Trinity Life Center Church. If you approach from the east side, you will need to go past the church and make a U-turn at Harrison Street and drive back to Madison Avenue Baptist Church.

Party will feature turkey(Donations appreciated.). Please bring sides or dessert. This is a free event.

Please Note: Creation Science Club donations are now tax deductible when you use a Madison Ave. Baptist Church envelope or a check and make it out to the church for Creation Club. Ask George if you have a question.

Christmas Open House and Lecture Series on December 6th, 2025!

We are blessed to have Dr. Gary Byers as our guest speaker to offer an archaeological perspective on two exciting topics. Gary serves on the dig staff as Co-Director and Senior Archaeologist of the Shiloh Excavations, Israel. He also currently serves as Dean of the College of Archaeology, Trinity Southwest University in Albuquerque, NM. He is a graduate of Liberty University with a BS, Baltimore Hebrew University with an MA, and a PhD at Veritas International University. Gary's excavation and field experience include: Co-Director at Shiloh, Israel (2017-present); Assistant Director at Tall el-Hammam, Jordan (2005-2023); Administrative Director and Senior Archaeologist, at Khirbet al-Maqatir, Israel (1995-2000, 2009-2011); square supervisor at Khirbet Nisya, Israel (1993-1994) and excavation staff at Tel Miqne/Ekron, Israel (1984).

10 AM - 11:30 AM - "New Discoveries At Shiloh"
11:45 AM - 12:45 PM - Pizza and salad lunch is served for all
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM - "The Tabernacle From An Archaeologist's Perspective"
The Museum will be open before the 1st lecture, during lunch, and after the 2nd lecture. There is no charge for this event or the lunch!

Bethlehem Village Model On Display

Our newly renovated miniature Bethlehem Village model will be a bit larger with new characters and buildings for you to enjoy. This collection of 5 inch miniature characters by Fontanini staged in period shops and homes has blessed thousands of people through the years.
